About The Author

My name is Natalie and I have been creating stories before I was old enough to write.

When I was seventeen, my inspiring Mum - who was also my best friend - tragically died. At her funeral I read aloud a poem I had written for her and we had a book of messages from people expressing their love and admiration for her and I thought – she would have loved to have seen this! What a shame we finally collate all our sentiments only once a person has gone. We should be sharing these stories and celebrating our loved-ones whilst they are still here to hear it!

Fast forward a few decades and we’re at a milestone birthday party for my Dad; all of the family are there and I present my Dad with a poem I have written for him, encapsulating his life story. It’s three pages long and so he asks if I will read it aloud....

The family gather around and experience my Dad’s life story as I read – there is laughter at the funny anecdotes, nostalgia at the snapshot moments the poem recalled and tears remembering the hard parts.

Inadvertently, I had created what I suppose was a Living Eulogy....and ‘Life Legacy’ was born!

I have a background in writing psychological thriller novels, but in my twenties I began writing personalised poetry and the emotional response of my clients made me realise that the service I provide is really valuable to people who know exactly what they'd like to say, but struggle to articulate those sentiments. I treat each Client's story with compassion and respect and I would be honoured to support you in expressing your thoughts through eloquent, perceptive writing.

It’s important we share our stories - each one of us is so unique and I consider it an absolute privilege to be able to craft beautiful life chronicles into condensed creative pieces to be shared, treasured and left behind as your Life Legacy.
